Mr. Timothy Young

astrophysicist Data Wrangler (he/him)

Tim is an astrophysicist who has worked on everything from neutron star observations to applying data science to biodiversity and climate models. He has a passion for telling stories, and has designed scientific exhibitions that have travelled to NASA (and the rest of the world but he’s really proud of the NASA thing). In his spare time he designs games and plays a lot of Dungeons and Dragons.

Dr. Phillip English

game dev Lab Rat (he/him)

Growing up with an Amstrad CPC64, a Super Nintendo, and a love for puzzles meant Phill was destined to be a bit of a nerd. After studying for way too long, he has ended up as a deft hand in both the laboratory and general data analytics. He loves participating in game jams and is currently trying to start a game development company in Darwin with his (very patient) wife. His specialty topics include speed running history, M:tG drafting theory, and the best Laksa joints in the Northern Territory.
